CRUMBS policies

Hey cake lovers!

Please take a moment to read through our CRUMBS policies before placing your order. This ensures you're fully aware of our ordering process, deposit requirements, allergy disclosures, and cancellation/refund terms.

CRUMBS Policies 

1. Booking & Payments

  • Notice Period: All orders require a minimum of two weeks' notice.

  • Deposit & Full Payment: A 50% deposit is required within 24 hours of order confirmation to secure your date. Please note that orders of £60 or below must be paid in full at the time of booking and are completely non-refundable.

  • Failure to Pay: If the deposit or full payment is not received within this 24-hour timeframe, your inquiry will be canceled, and your date may be given to another client.

  • Remaining Balance: For orders over £60, the remaining 50% balance must be paid upon collection/pickup. Alternatively, you are welcome to pay in full at the time of booking. All payments/deposits are used to secure your date and cover the upfront cost of specialty ingredients and design elements.

2. Collection & Delivery

  • Delivery: Additional fees apply for all cake deliveries.

  • Collection Time Slots: If you are collecting your cake, you will be allocated a specific time slot. Please arrive on time. If you are more than 30 minutes late for your slot, a £10 late fee will be added to your final balance.

3. Allergen Notice

  • While we take every precaution to sanitize, clean, and cater to your dietary requirements, we operate in a working kitchen that handles allergens. Therefore, we cannot 100% guarantee that our products are completely free of cross-contamination.

4. Cancellations & Refunds

  • Cancellations with 7+ Days' Notice: If you cancel an order over £60 at least 7 days before your date, you will receive a partial refund of your deposit, minus the cost of any ingredients or custom elements already purchased.

  • Cancellations with Less Than 7 Days' Notice: For orders over £60, the 50% deposit is completely non-refundable.

  • Paid in Full Orders (Over £60): If you paid for an order over £60 in full, you must cancel at least 48 hours priorto the event to receive a 50% refund, minus the cost of any ingredients and custom elements already purchased. Cancellations made within 48 hours of the event are strictly non-refundable. (Note: Orders of £60 or below remain completely non-refundable upon booking).
